The Chairman of Dangote Group Aliko Dangote and business mogul Femi Otedola have promised the Super Eagles $75,000 for a goal at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Concise News reported that Nigeria defeated South Africa 2-1 on Wednesday to book a semi-final berth with Algeria at the 2019 AFCON.

Dangote promised $50,000 per goal, while Otedola pledged $25,000 for the same feat by Gernot Rohr’s boys.

Another businessman Hosea Okunbo pledged $20,000 per player, while Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos state governor, gave the team $5,000 per player earlier.

Meanwhile, Concise News had posted the semi-final fixtures as Algeria won 3-4 on penalties after normal and extra time ended 1-1 at the AFCON against Senegal.
