The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play Algeria in one of the semi-final fixtures of the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) on Sunday, July 14th.

Nigeria had defeated South Africa 2-1 in a quarter-final clash at the AFCON on Wednesday with Algeria needing a penalty shoot-out to beat Ivory Coast on Thursday.

Algeria won 3-4 on penalties after normal and extra time ended 1-1 in the evening.
