Senate Tells Buhari What To Do To After Killing Of Nigerian In South Africa

The Senate has asked the Executive to issue a travel alert to Nigerians who intend to travel to South Africa following the killing of the West Africans in the country.

Concise News learned that Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe presented the motion on Wednesday.

The lawmaker from Abia state drew the attention of members of the Senate to the recent killing of a Nigerian, Elizabeth Ndubuisi-Chukwu, warning them of the xenophobic attacks in the country.

It was learned that she was in Johannesburg to attend the Conference of the African Insurance Organisation (AIO).

She was reportedly found dead in her room at Emperor’s Palace Casino Hotel and Convention Centre on 13 June.
