Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze has said team captain Mikel Obi encouraged him before the game against South Africa on Wednesday.
The Villarreal man scored Nigeria’s first goal in the 2-1 win over the Bafana Bafana in a semi-final clash at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Speaking after the clash, the U-17 winner said when he was picked to start the game, Mikel urged him to go do his best in the clash.
