Newly appointed Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri is said to have told the Italian giant board he will like to have Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus, Concise News reports.

According to RAI Sport, Juve chief Fabio Paratici is meeting with new coach Maurizio Sarri today to discuss their transfer plans which Gabriel Jesus will top the agenda.

While Juve are in negotiations with Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, Sarri actually regards Gabriel as the better option. The coach believes the City forward would be a better foil for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Gabriel is said to be unsettled at City, where he is strictly second choice to Sergio Aguero.
