Brazil star Gabriel Jesus was in tears after he was shown a red car in the team’s COPA America 2019 final win over Peru.
The Manchester City man was among the scorers as the Samba Boys ran out 3-1 winners over Peru on Sunday night.
Everton Soares scored one with a late penalty by Richarlison making up the rest of the goals.
Peru had Paolo Guerrero pull one back for his side in the final match of the competition.
Jesus was sent away from the clash after picking up a second yellow card 20 minutes from time for a foul on Carlos Zambrano.
He protested his innocence and attempted to push away the VAR monitor with both hands (officials stopped it from falling to the ground).
