Liverpool owner Fenway Sports Group (FSG) is afraid manager Jurgen Klopp might not sign a new contract amid fears of burn out, the UK Sun reports.

The German and his coaching staff signed six-year extensions in 2016, keeping them at Anfield until 2022.

However, Klopp values his health far more than money, which is why he is taking his time to make a decision.

On the other hand, FSG are worried that the more successful Klopp becomes, the more attractive he makes himself to big European clubs in future.

The 52-year-old who finished second in the Premier League last season has expressed his intention of ending Liverpool’s 29-year wait for the title.
