Nigeria and Cameroon will faceoff on Saturday in the tie after both teams emerged second in their various groups.
The defending African champions last met Nigeria in the competition in 2004 with the Eagles winning 2-1.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Seedorf, a Dutch legend, admitted that having struck twice in the tournament, he is worried about his side’s attack.
“I do not think of Nigeria (opponent in the round of 16), we just finished the match,” the former AC Milan man told France Football.
“I’m very happy because we qualified, but we were disappointed because we wanted to win the match, we completely controlled this match.
“We have to improve in several details, especially in attack, we have to be smarter to create more opportunities, we have not conceded a goal yet, there are positive things for the future.”
Nigeria will take on their Central African rivals on Saturday in one of the round of 16 fixtures at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
The last time both teams met at the competition was in 2004 when Nigeria defeated them 2-1 in the quarter-final.
Speaking ahead of the game, Etebo who features for Stoke City in the English Championship, assured that the team will give their best when they fight the Indomitable Lions.
“We have a big task ahead and so am going to make sure that I give my best for the team,” he told Brila FM.
“It’s not going to be easy though but with the determination and the unity of the team, we pray that we emerge victorious.”
