Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Reacts To FG's Suspension Of Ruga, Reveals Next Move

The leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has hailed the group for the suspension of the proposed Ruga settlements for herders by the Nigerian government.

Kanu made the commendation on Wednesday while reacting to the decision of the Federal Government to put on hold its proposed Ruga settlements which has raised dust in different corners of the country.

He noted that it was IPOB that took a principled stand and fired the first salvo against the Ruga initiative which he referred to as “evident Fulanization agenda”.

The IPOB leader said that the referendum on Biafra restoration is next on the group’s agenda.

He said: “As Jubril/the Cabal bows to pressure and SUSPEND implementation of their , let me salute worldwide which took a principled stand and fired the FIRST salvo against this evident Fulanization agenda. Better yet, RUGA or not, a on Biafra restoration is NEXT.”

President Muhammadu Buhari is said to have suspended the idea of establishing the Ruga settlements pending further notice.
