Barcelona star Denis Suarez has now teamed up with Spanish side Celta Vigo, a statement from the club, Monday, said.
Concise News understands that Suarez’s deal with the La Liga side is valued at €13m, with a potential €3m more in bonuses.
In the statement, Barcelona thanked the midfielder for his services to the Nou Camp and wished him well in his subsequent endeavours.
“FC Barcelona would like to thank Denis Suarez for his commitment and dedication, and wishes him every success in the future,” the statement said.
Suarez began his career at his new club, before joining the Camp Nou outfit.
Guardiola has enhanced his reputation as one of the greats of football management since leaving Bayern Munich for City – winning the domestic treble at the Etihad last term.
However, the Spaniard is yet to taste glory on the continent with the Blues having last won the Champions League as Barcelona boss in 2011.
Guardiola will enter his fourth season as City manager in August – the number of years he spent at Barca before coaching Bayern for three.
But he insists he has no intention of leaving the Premier League champions any time soon.
“What I like more is that I have proved that people who said we can’t play the same way in Germany or in the Premier League were wrong,” he told Catalan newspaper Ara.
