Olatoye's PA Dies, Days After Sugar's Burial In Ibadan

Wale Azeez, the Personal Assistant to the slain Oyo lawmaker, Temitope Olatoye, a member of the House of Representatives, who represented Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency died days after Sugar’s burial.

Concise News gathered that Azeez, who has been an aide to the lawmaker since 2011 was hit by a bullion van a week after his boss, (Olatoye) was buried.

Azeez, who a bullion van ran at him where he was standing and knock him down, it was, however, confirmed that the bullion van driver allegedly violets the traffic law by driving on a ‘one way’ road in Iwo area of Ibadan.

He was said to have been rushed to the intensive care unit of the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan after the accident.

However, it was learnt that Azeez died on Thursday. exactly six days after he was hit by the bullion van.

Recalls that the Sugar was killed by some unknown gunmen in Lalupon area of Ibadan shortly after he cast his vote during the gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections on March 9.

The slain lawmaker was thereafter buried in Ibadan, the state capital on Friday, May 3.

Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the state, Olugbenga Fadeyi, when asked for reactions, he said that he wasn’t aware of the incident.
