The Executive Chairman, Aliyu Inda Salami, who disclosed this in Lokoja during a two-day retreat to equip staff of the organization, says the effort was geared towards increasing the IGR of the state to N3 billion monthly.
He says the feat was made possible as a result of the recent operational restructuring in the service which focused on effective and efficient revenue collections. Salami, admonished the staff to be open-minded at receiving and implementing the nuggets from the retreat as they would be “Change Agents’’ in their individual job responsibilities and be held accountable for their performances.
Also, he encourages the staff to be ambitious and goal-oriented even in their personal pursuits as this will eventually affect the growth of the Service in a positive way.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja in his remarks urges the management and staff of the agency to intensify efforts to increase revenue generation in the state.
