The Acting Inspector General (IG) of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has hailed the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) as the most successful unit in the Nigeria Police.
Concise News learned that Adamu said this in Monday in Benin City at the start of a three-day Human Rights Training Programme for officers of SARS in Edo.
According to him, 80 per cent of the successes recorded by the Nigeria Police Force can be credited to SARS.
He was represented at the event by the Commissioner of Police charge of Training and Development, Abiodun Odube.
This is as he noted that the police was committed to training its officers to be able to carry out their duties effectively.
