Concise News understands that President Buhari often invites dignitaries for fast-breaking during Ramadan, which is known as Iftar.
On Monday, the president received members of his cabinet among others, however, it was the turn of the federal lawmakers on Tuesday.
Buhari’s Special Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, confirmed the Senate President’s presence and tweeted some pictures along with the caption: “President @MBuhari host leadership of the National Assembly to break #Ramadan fast this evening at the State House, Abuja.”
Buhari hosting the Senate President is coming at a time he is battling with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Meanwhile, last week, the Commission disclosed that it would probe Saraki’s tenure as Governor of Kwara State between 2003 and 2011.
