The Ogun State Police Command paraded three suspected cult members with female panties allegedly joined with charms in Sagamu Local Government area of the state.

Concise News understands that the suspects were apprehended and identified as Olagboye Abidemi, 32; Olasemojo Michael, 28; and Wasiu Waheed, 23 reports had it that they were members of the Eiye Confraternity.

It was revealed that they were apprehended at their initiation hideout in Agbowa area of Ogijo on Friday.

Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abimbola Oyeyemi who said that the apprehension of the suspects was made in continuation of the command’s war on cultism and other violent crimes.

Oyeyemi said, “The DPO Ogijo division, CSP Muhammed Baba while leading his men on Operation Puff Adder on a routine patrol, got information about the hideout of the cultists where they usually initiate new members.”

“The place was stormed and three members of the group were arrested.”

“Recovered from them were one jackknife, one bloodstained silver knife, female underwear tied with charms and other assorted charms.”

Oyeyemi reiterated that the Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama, had ordered the transfer of the suspects to the Anti-Kidnapping/Anti-Cultism section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation.
