Court Sentences 'Angel' To Four Months In Prison
Federal High Court, Abuja

The Federal High Court, Ibadan, has sentenced an internet fraudster, Adebimpe Babajide Quadri, also known as ‘Angel,’ to four months in prison.

Concise News learned that Angel was on Wednesday, found guilty of criminal impersonation in a one-count amended charge filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The offence was contrary to section 22 (4)(b) and punishable under Section 22(4) of the Cyber Crimes (Prohibition, Prevention e.t.c) Act, 2015.

According to the p[residing Judge, Justice P.I. Ajoku, his jail term runs from his day of arrest – February 13, 2019.

Quadri, according to the Judge, will also forfeit a sum of $400 USD (Four Hundred United States of American Dollars), one Samsung phone and one black Tecno k7 phone to the Federal Government.
