Olakunle Churchill, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, has lauded former Mavin Records first lady Tiwa Savage.

In the midst of being dragged by his ex-wife, the Nigerian big boy ignored all of the happenings and acknowledged the pop star, calling her latest move as a blessing to Africa.

Concise News had reported that Tiwa Savage had left Mavin Records after seven years to continue her musical career with the Universal Music Group, that has Rihanna as one of its acts.

Churchill congratulated Tiwa Savage on the record deal, pointing out that the pop queen came into a male-dominated industry and carved a niche for herself.

He wrote, “Tiwa Savage you’ve got this! You came into a male-dominated industry and not only did you carve a niche for yourself but you have also become a role model to a lot young Nigerians and Africans generally.

“I am not surprised on your new and major deal with Universal Music Group because the global stage is where you belong.
