The governor-elect said, “I didn’t have the federal might, I didn’t have the money, I didn’t have godfathers but I have good people of Bauchi and I won it.

“To some, it is a miracle but to me, I know that God has power to do anything. We are ready to go through the process (litigations). I know that only God determines who goes to the government house; Bauchi people have spoken and I appreciate the support they gave me,” he said.

He urged the leader of the legal team to use his wealth of experience as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria to defend the mandate given to him by the people of Bauchi State.

He also promised that he would provide good governance through an all-inclusive government.

Mohammed won the governorship election under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is being challenged by Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar of the APC, as well as candidates of APP and PDM.
