As candidates who sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2019 anxiously wait for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to release their result, Concise News intimates you with the mood.
This online news medium spoke with a few Jambites and here are their thoughts:
“I’m very anxious of course. In fact, I’m tired. I’m looking at 250 score. I heard some people were involved in examination malpractice and some used scientific calculator, which is not allowed. The reason for the delay. So I think they are taking their time to check all the CCTV rooms in all the centres to know those that are involved in examination malpractice.” – Agbeke Abdul Rauf
“Actually, I aim 300 over 400. It is announced that the result will come out starting from tomorrow (Monday), so we are waiting” – Salaudeen Fathiat, Lagos.
“Well, anytime they decide to release the results, I expect to come out in flying colours, that’s my own.” – Muhammed Abdul Salam, Lagos.
“I hope to see a score of nothing less than 240. I want to come out in flying colour. And I hope they release the result soon as I see myself excelling in the exam.” – Monsurat Yusuf, Ilorin.
“I am not expecting anything totally different because year in year out, We have heard news of exam malpractices and this year is no exemption. The examination board (JAMB) has decided to investigate and apprehend examination criminals since the year 2009. Personally, I don’t think they will pull this through but if they do, it shouldn’t affect the innocent. JAMB should release the results soon so that those who failed will have time for alternatives.” – Ajetunmobi Taofeeqah, Lagos.
