Lai Mohammed Reveals When Buhari Will Dissolve Cabinet

Nigeria’s minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed, has insinuated that President Muhammadu Buhari would dissolve the current Federal Executive Council on 22 May.

Mohammed made the insinuation at the end of Thursday’s Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

“We will be having a valedictory session on 22nd May. The cabinet remains intact,” he told newsmen at the Presidential Villa.

Meanwhile, three outgoing governors are reportedly in the race for Buhari’s cabinetThree Governors Running For Buhari’s Ministerial Slots ahead of the inauguration of the Nigerian leader for a second term in office.

Concise News also learned that  the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) may be zoned to the North-Central in favour of a Christian candidate.

And as regards inclusiveness, which Buhari promised after getting another mandate to lead Africa’s most populous nation, there is pressure on him to revert to a 42-man cabinet structure.
