Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets will take on Guinea in the first semi-final of the CAF U17 Africa Cup of Nations at the National Stadium, Dar es Salaam, on Wednesday.
The Nigerians reached this stage after finishing top of Group A with seven points, while Guinea booked their place in the last four with a 1-0 win over Morocco to finish second in group B with 6 points; one behind Cameroon.
The two side, based on their semi-final berths, have confirmed their spots at the World Cup.
Guinea have lost all three previous semi-finals to eventual winners of the competition, while Nigeria have only won the U17 AFCON twice.
Angola and Cameroon, the other African teams that have qualified for this year’s World Cup in Brazil, will face off in the other semi-final.
