The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that its website is active for 2019 recruitment of 3,200 personnel.
The Comptroller General of Customs (CGC), Col. Hameed Ali (rtd), had on Tuesday announced that the customs was ready to recruit more personnel.
Concise News understands that spokesman for the security outfit, Joseph Attah, Wednesday said the website was active and taking applications.
Acting Deputy Comptroller-General of Customs in charge of Human Resources Department, Umar Sanusi, had explained that 800 people would be recruited to fill vacancies in the Support Staff for Superintendent Cadre Category, and 2,400 would fill that of Customs Inspector and Customs Assistant Cadre in the General Duty Categories.
He said that the service’s portal for the recruitment would be opened 12 midnight of Tuesday and would be closed after three weeks.
According to the organization, the application is free of charge for all applicants; so applicants are advised to be mindful of fraudsters.
Also, any use of fraudulent documents would lead to prosecution.
