Super Eagles star, Alex Iwobi has admitted Watford were a good match for Arsenal even though they eventually fell 1-0 in front of their fans in a Premier League clash Monday night.

“They fought till the last whistle and I think they deserved the accolades they received from their fans after the match,” Iwobi says.
“But we ought to have wrapped up the game in the first half after (Troy) Deeney’s red card, we created some chances but we couldn’t convert them.
“In the second half towards the end of the game, they looked as if they were 13 players on the field.”
Furthermore, Iwobi notes that the win was crucial as the Gunners have now returned to Top-4.
“The most important thing is that we won the match and we are fourth on the table with 66 points with a game in hand,” he says.
“Top-4 is our priority as a team.
Iwobi played the entire game for Arsenal, while another Nigerian player, Isaac Success was a substitute for Watford.
