IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

The leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has said the inability of law practitioners in the country to know the difference between their School Certificate from their First School Leaving Certificate means law in Nigeria is a joke.

This online news medium understands that the pro-Biafra leader noted this in a reaction to the continued debate over President Muhammadu Buhari’s certificate.

Festus Keyamo, one of Buhari’s campaign managers for the 2019 election had noted that his principal does not need a West African Examination Council (WAEC) result to contest for the presidency.

This, Kanu said, is worrying as judges, and lawyers in the country do not know what the country’s law stipulates.

“It is worrying when supposed senior judges and lawyers, including Senior Advocates, don’t know their School Certificate from their First School Leaving Certificate,” he tweeted.

“Law in Nigeria is a joke! No School Certificate (WAEC) no presidency, Period!”
