Super Falcons head coach Thomas Dennerby has named France-based striker Desire Oparanozie to lead the African champions to France for the World Cup this year.

Concise News learned that the Swede chose Oparanozie as skipper of the nine-time African champions after the 2-1 loss to Canada in a pre-World Cup match in Spain.
