Workers from Kogi have urged President Muhammadu Buhari to approve the balance of N30.8b of the state share of the bailout fund, Concise News reports.

This online news medium understands that the Kogi State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Onuh Edoka, made the appeal on Thursday in Lokoja at the delegate conference of the state chapter of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN).

Edoka noted that the bailout fund will help the Kogi State government in the payment of their salary arrears.

He also urged the federal government to set up a committee that would comprise representatives of the state government and the labour to see to the disbursement of the money when released.
