While Mr Eazi would be performing on Saturday, April 13 at 9:00pm, Burna Boy would take to the stage on Sunday, April 14, at exactly 7:15pm.

This will be their first time at the international event. In 2018, Wizkid, another Nigerian star, was unable to make it to the US for the festival despite being included in the lineup.

Expressing his excitement, Mr Eazi wrote on Twitter, “Mummy your prayers dey work o!! 1st headline show was 22nd dec 2015 To 100 people , & on Saturday less than 4 years later im playing Coachella Main Stage!!”

There will also be performances from foreign acts as Childish Gambino and Rihanna’s new film, Guava Island, will premiere on the Coachella Youtube channel.

Among the lineup to perform at the event are Janelle Monáe, Weezer, J Balvin, YG, CHVRCHES, Blood Orange, Pusha T, Playboi Carti, Wiz Khalifa, Kacey Musgraves, and Jaden Smith.
