The project is aimed at improving agro-processing, productivity and livelihood and is in sync with the Agricultural Promotion Policy on food security, local production, job creation and economic diversification.

This will be done via backing farmers’ productivity and their linkage to markets. The intervention will facilitate agricultural production and Cashew processing.
The intervention project targets 10,000 direct beneficiaries and 50, 000 indirect beneficiaries in Kogi State.
Also, 35 per cent of the beneficiaries will be women just as 5 – 10 per cent of the will be people who have disabilities.
