A policeman appears to have confiscated a mobile phone belonging to a student of Delta State University for being ‘too expensive’.
In a purported video of the incident, an aggrieved policeman stops a bus conveying students for a routine stop-and-search operation, but extends the search to the phones of the passengers, only to see one of them using an iPhone.
Concise News learned that this happened in Okpe area of Delta state.
The visibly angry policeman then requests for the cost of the phone. The student says N200k. This gets the policeman infuriated, suspecting that the boy could be doing something illegal.
