Ahead of the All Africa Senior Badminton Championship, Deborah Ukeh has said that Nigeria should expect the best from her when the championships finally take centre stage at Alfred Diete Spiff Sports Complex.
Concise News reports that Deborah who is one of the shining light of Badminton in Nigeria believes with the high level of preparation put in place by the Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN), Team Nigeria will go for Gold.
Declaring her readiness to take on other African counterparts, Deborah says, “This is not just a national tournament, is an international championship and as the main host, we are hosting to win, so expect the very best from me,” Deborah tells kelvianomedia.com.
“Preparation has been going on well and still in progress towards the big event later this month.
“The whole team is fully prepared to give in our utmost best, not just to play but to win the championships”. Deborah concludes.
The Africa Senior Badminton Championships will run from 22nd to 28th April 2019 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
