It was a well-attended event at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, as national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress Bola Tinubu marked his 66th birthday on Thursday with a colloquium.
The colloquium holds annually to mark the birthday of the former Lagos governor.
This year’s colloquium focused on jobs and the economy. The organisers said they were using the programme to showcase the government’s efforts in creating millions of jobs.
President Muhammadu Buhari was represented by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo with his wife, Dolapo, also in attendance.
Also present at the event were Governors Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara State; Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo; his Ekiti State counterpart, Kayode Fayemi; and Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
Others attendees included Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu; Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State; his Bauchi State counterpart Mohammed Abubakar; Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shuaibu; former Governor Rauf Aregbesola; and Lagos State Governor-elect Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
