It did not take long for Zinedine Zidane to implement his own style on Real Madrid once more, but the returnee insists that everyone can play a part under him.

Concise News reports that the Frenchman made some big changes to the starting line-up for the 2-0 win over Celta Vigo as Keylor Navas, Marcelo and Isco all returned, as well as Gareth Bale and Marco Asensio.

It certainly worked, too, as Isco and Bale both found the net for Los Blancos in the victory.

“Nobody here, or anywhere, can take away what these players have done here,” says Zidane.

“I have a squad of 23, 24, 25 players and will count on them all.”

“Thibaut [Courtois] and [Sergio] Reguilon have done well until now, others too.

“But at same time Keylor is very good, Marcelo too, Isco too.

“I must count on these players as they are good players, but I will count on them all.

“What I liked most of all was that we had more than 20 crosses, and in the end, we got there and finished one off. That gives us chances to score goals, and we did.

“I believe all the players here know that you must play football. That is what I like, and what the players like. But, also, when we don’t have the ball, we must run, to get it back.”

He continues:

“I just know the players they are, they have shown it before here. I am going to count on them. They showed that today, those who had played less – Keylor, Marcelo, Isco, Marco – all of them.”

It has been well documented that there are set to be changes at the club in the summer, though Zidane says he will not be judging the players game-by-game.

“We will have changes [in the summer], but I cannot say anything more,” he adds.

“I will not be here each 10 games thinking if someone played well they will stay, he played badly he must go.”

In terms of the goalkeeper position going forward, the decision to opt for Navas ahead of Courtois generated a lot of debate.

“Today Keylor played, and Thibaut will play too, and we have Luca [Zidane] as the third keeper,” he continues.

“Madrid need two, three, four great keepers.

“So the coach always has the problem, but I will count on both until the end of the season, then we will see.”
