Atiku Campaign DG Gbenga Daniel Quits PDP, Reveals Next Move

Former Director General of Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign organisation Gbenga Daniel has quit Nigeria’s main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Concise News learned that the former governor of Ogun state, according to a letter dated 14th March 2019, said that he was leaving the party to pursue “some other vocations.”

“This is to inform you of my intention to resign from active and partisan politics with effect from today, the 14th day of March, 2019,” the letter addressed to the party’s National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, read.

“My decision in this regard is entirely personal to me and having served in various capacities, including as Governor of Ogun State, I have resolved to immerse myself in some other vocations and take on some new challenges.”
