Seven school children have been rescued from a three-storey building which collapsed in the Itafaji area of Lagos Island on Wednesday.
A primary school is said to be located on the top floor of the building with pupils feared killed and others trapped.
Concise News understands that 19 persons including seven school pupils and 12 adults have been rescued from the collapsed building.
It was also learned that men of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (Lasema) were already at the scene of the collapse, according to the spokesman for the agency, Kehinde Adebayo.
According to reports, the structure is reported to be a residential building with several apartments.
As at the time of filing this report, emergency and rescue workers are at the scene of the incident.
