In a tweet on his handle, Kanu alleged that with reports from the South-South state, Imo and Abia, the exercise should be cancelled.

According to Kanu, any move to doctor results of the exercise in these states will be resisted.

“With disturbing reports from Rivers, Imo & Abia governorship elections, we warn INEC that doctored results imposed against the will of the people will be resisted.

“Any government formed on the basis of a fraudulent result will bring anarchy. Cancellation is the only solution.”
