Activities on the floor of the Nigeria stock market last week took a dive as there was a reduction in the number of investors.
Concise News understands that the stock market gained N36bn last week, compared to the N325bn loss of the previous week but saw a fell in market participation.
This is because volume and value of trade slumped by 31.42 per cent and 39.46 per cent in that order.
Also, the All Share Index grew by 0.31 per cent to land at 32,049.73 basis points, thus pegging the year-to-date return at 1.57 per cent.
Market breadth settled lower at 0.65x as the market had 23 gainers and 37 losers.
