Mfon Udoh yesterday continued his fine form in front of goal after he grabbed his seventh goal in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) as Akwa United were held to draw by hosts Gombe United, while Remo Stars and Kada City won at home in rescheduled matches.

Concise News reports that Udoh, top scorer in 2014 with 23 goals, hit the target in the 84th minute for visiting Akwa United only for the home team to draw level a minute from fulltime.

Remo Stars also left it late before they beat visiting Wikki Tourists 2-1 and Kada City stopped Yobe Desert Stars also 2-1 in Kaduna.

Katsina United collected their second away point at Lobi Stars on the back of a 1-1 draw and Enyimba held Bendel Insurance to a scoreless draw in Benin City.

Katsina United striker Martins Usule stunned the home fans in the first half before hosts Lobi Stars salvaged a draw courtesy of a penalty goal by Yaya Kone in the second half.

Udoh currently sits top of the NPFL goalscoring chart with 7 goals in 10 matches. He has found the net in his last four matches – home and away.
