The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has refuted plans of going on another strike action, contrary to reports.
Concise News understands that reports (not on Concise News) that Asuu is planning another industrial action just about a month after it called off its three-month strike.
However, the president of the union Biodun Ogunyemi has called on Nigerians to disregard such report.
According to him, Nigerian lecturers are not thinking of going on another strike.
He also said the Twitter handle that published the story does not belong to the union.

The Asuu leader told Leadership Newspaper that “those behind the twitter handle are fraudulent.
“We have not embarked on strike, the twitter has been using our name to publish fake things.”
In addition, he urged the students to continue with their studies and disregard the story.
