The Blues plays a host to their neighbouring team, Tottenham in the week 28 of the English Premiership League on Wednesday night.

Recall there was a situation that caught the attention of the football fans during the EFL Cup final as goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga apparently refused to be substituted in favour of Willy Caballero after going down with cramp right before the pivotal penalty shoot-out.

The fans will hope under-fire Maurizio Sarri has addressed the situation before trading tackle with Pochettino’s men.

Last time Tottenham Spurs took on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in Premier League action, they registered their first victory there in a massive 28 years.

The Blues will hope to win so as to regain the top four position.

However, it is a relief to the Spurs fans as their talisman returns to action.

Harry Kane is perhaps the best pure goalscorer currently operating in the Premier League, and after a six-week absence with an ankle injury, he returned on Saturday against Burnley to register his 15th league goal of the season. Worryingly for Chelsea, Kane does have a tendency to score a glut of goals upon returning from injuries.

Tottenham lost to Burnley last Saturday but Harry Kane was able to register his name on the scoring sheet, which will be a trouble for the struggling Blues.

Chelsea Team News

Gary Cahill and David Zappacosta remain unavailable for Chelsea.

Sarri is not expected to make many changes to his team from Sunday’s cup final.

Tottenham Team News

Dele Alli and Eric Dier are still not fit for selection for Tottenham.

Harry Kane and Ben Davies are back in contention for Spurs after making their returns on Saturday.
