Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu sold the Yoruba votes to President Muhammadu Buhari to get the presidency in 2023, according to a former presidential aide Reno Omokri.
Buhari won Lagos State with a margin of 132,798 to win the commercial city.
Reacting to the development, Omokri alleged that Buhari had been rejected by Nigerians.
“Even the rigging shows they look with disdain on certain parts of Nigeria,” he tweeted.
“Will you accept while you‘re made 2nd class citizens in your country? Look at Akwa-Ibom. 1,011,715 votes in 2015 and only 376,687 so far in 2019. You cant try this in Ghana
“And to Asiwaju Tinubu who sold out the South-West because of Buhari’s promise to hand over to him.
“Bola, you have been damaged by this election cycle. Not just before other Nigerians, but among your kin. That promise may just end up being a mirage.”
