A South African pastor has said that God asked him to use alcoholic drinks to heal ailing members of his church.
It was learned that the pastor, Uriah Maseko, of Katlehong Ekurhuleini church claimed that the Holy Spirit told him to give his church members alcohol.
Therefore, he invited people with HIV/AIDS and those with any other ailments to drink the “anointed vodka” and be healed of their sicknesses.
The image of the pastor giving his congregation what appears to be the alcoholic drink during a service has since gone viral.
According to an online news medium iharare.com, the pastor affirmed that he used Russian Bear vodka to minister healing and deliverance to the sick and those who needed deliverance in his church.
“God uses different methods to perform miracles. Nothing, including healing, is impossible for God. “I’m not the one who heals. I was led by the spirit to use alcohol,” he said.
