Tottenham Hotspur forward, Son Heung-min says it is an honour for him to play with every single Spurs player.
Concise News reports that the in-form South Korean was among the goals in a fantastic evening for Tottenham against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
Spurs scored two goals in the last seven minutes of the game to take a commanding three nil lead to Germany.
Speaking after the Round of 16 first leg match, Son says, “The most important thing is that we won the first game. Its a great win at home. It was an unbelievable night.”
Importance of getting the two late goals
“It was unbelievable. We scored at the right time for the first goal.
“In the second half, we bounced back stronger than the first and we deserved a few goals.
“Fernando (Llorente) came on and helped the team a lot.
“Jan Verthogen was unbelievable tonight. I really enjoyed watching him. Its an honour to play with every single player here.”
On his goal
“I didn’t have to do much because the cross was unreal, the ball went to my foot. I just had to touch it. I feel a bit sorry because I didn’t run to Jan.
“He was unbelievable and we are happy. I said to him he can play every single position because his technique is unbelievable. I really enjoy watching him.
“A better night for him. I think it is impossible. 3-0, clean sheet, goal, assist, unbelievable from Jan.”
