President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over decisions of the Supreme Court to stop APC from participating in all elections in Rivers State, aside presidential poll. Buhari expressed his view during the APC mega rally in Rivers State on Tuesday.

2. Amosun Responsible For Attacks On Buhari, Tinubu, Oshiomhole, Others – APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused Governor Ibikunle Amosun of sponsoring an attack on President Muhammadu Buhari, the party’s chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and others leaders during the party’s campaign rally in Ogun State. Concise News reports that alleged supporters of Amosun and APM hauled stones and pebbles at Buhari, Oshiomhole and national leader of the party, Bola Tinubuafter Buhari raised the hand of Dapo Abiodun as the APC governorship candidate in the State.

3. Court Remands Babachir Lawal In EFCC Custody, Adjourns Ruling

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday ordered that the immediate past Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, be remanded in the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) custody. Justice Okeke ordered that the former SGF be kept in EFCC custody, pending the ruling of the court on his bail application on February 13.

The immediate past Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, has been arrested and arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Lawal and five others, it was learned, have pleaded not guilty to a 10 count charge of fraudulent diversion of funds meant for the clearing of evasive plants in the North East.

5. Amosun Reveals How Tinubu, Oshiomhole Escaped During Ogun APC Rally

Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state has revealed that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, had to sneak out “through the back door” as the party’s presidential rally in the state was marred by violence. Writing on his official Facebook page, Amosun narrated how party members booed the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, former Governor of Osun State Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign, Rotimi Amaechi.

6. 2019 Presidential Election: Popular Prophet Reveals Winner Ahead Of Saturday’s Poll

As the Presidential election draws nearer, the General Overseer of Evangelical Bible Outreach Ministries Int’l (EBOMI), Prophet Isa El-Buba, on Tuesday predicted that All Progressives Congress’ President Muhammadu Buhari will lose the election to Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar. El-Buba stated this while addressing journalists in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

7. Police Parade Men Who Inserted Pepper Into Lady’s Private Part (video)

Six young men arrested for stripping a lady naked and inserting pepper into her private part in Benin City, Edo State, over an alleged missing phone have been paraded by the State Police Command. The six male suspects arrested are Otoghile Joel (owner of the phone alleged to have been stolen by the young woman); Lucky Igbinovia, in whose house she was tortured; Edobor Osemwengie (Manager of Lafun Hotel); Kingsley Iyamu; Gregg Eweka and Friday Omorogbe.

8. Biafra: Three Shot Dead As Police Clash With IPOB In Imo

A clash between police and members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Monday reportedly claimed three lives in Owerri, the Imo State capital. The Punch quoted a police source as saying on Tuesday that the IPOB members stormed the Okigwe Road and started destroying billboards of candidates of political parties.

9. FG To Jam Telecoms Network Feb 16, 17, Fayose Alleges

The South West Coordinator of the Atiku/Obi PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Ayodele Fayose has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) led Federal Government of planning to stop the use of internet on the presidential election day. The immediate past Governor of Ekiti State alleged that the FG wants to jam all telecommunications networks from 5am on Saturday till 5pm on Sunday to make it impossible for use of internet and phone calls during the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

10. Champions League: PSG Humble Man Utd At Old Trafford

Paris Saint-Germain ran out 2-0 winners in the Champions League last-16 first leg at Old Trafford, handing Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer his first defeat since taking over from Jose Mourinho.
