The Independent National Electoral Commission on Monday released photos of sample ballot boxes that would be used for the 2019 General elections. The ballot boxes are in different colours, with the descriptions of the offices to be voted.
The All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Cross River State, Senator John Owan-Enoh and other candidates of the party currently recognised by the Independent National Electoral Commission, were on Monday sacked by a Federal High Court sitting in Calabar. In a two-hour judgment delivered by Hon Justice Simon Amobeda, he ordered that “INEC should only receive and accept the names and candidates for the 2019 elections that emerged from the lawful executive led by Godwin Etim John.”
