There was a mild drama at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential campaign in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Monday, February 11, as Governor Ibikunle Amosun ordered the removal of APC’s governorship flag-bearer, Prince Dapo Abiodun’s campaign material at the rally ground.
In the video which has since gone viral on the internet, Governor Amosun Instructed that the posters and billboards of the APC Governorship candidate be destroyed and removed at MKO Stadium by security operatives.
Meanwhile, the rally was disrupted by political thugs said to the supporters of Akinlade. It was gathered that suspected hoodlums went round the spectators’ side of the stadium, identified Abiodun’s supporters and injured them.
The victims were said to have scaled the fence to avoid being harmed by the attackers who threw dangerous objects such as stones and sticks at them.
Some of the people hurriedly removed the clothes and caps bearing Dapo Abiodun’s insignia.
