Several reactions have trailed the construction of a giant broom by the All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters in front of the Abuja City Gate in the nation’s capital.
Concise News had reported that supporters of the ruling party erected a huge broom said to be the ‘World Largest Broom’ in the Federal Capital Territory.
The broom erected in front of the city gate was captured by passers-by and posted on Twitter on Friday.
It was gathered that Abuja residents did not know what was being constructed when they began, but afterward, it turned out to be the broom symbol of the APC.
However, Concise News captured some of the reactions on Twitter…
Lmao what’s the meaning of this useless broom they are erecting at city gate. So this is the madness they were up to. I was confused as to what it was yesterday evening. But alas it was buffoonery in the making. I’m tired abeg. pic.twitter.com/1EmCNAItOD

While Ghana is pushing new frontiers of development. Nigeria under the rudderless leadership of General Muhammad Buhari, is so bereft of ideas that it is the mounting a N230m broom at the Abuja gate dat is paramount. You better vote for @atiku. These ones are totally lost. #LGNWA pic.twitter.com/seu0cAKvPb

The broom doesn't represent anything to Nigerian or Nigeria.
It's a symbol of a party, just one political party.
But it has been mounted at the front of FCT.
