Authorities have confirmed that the recovered body found in the wreckage of the plane found at the bottom of the English Channel belongs to Emiliano Sala.
Some weeks back, the aircraft carrying Sala and pilot David Ibbotson disappeared on its way to Cardiff.
But on Wednesday, the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) announced that they have managed to remove a body from the wreckage.
And a day later, Dorset Police have confirmed that the body recovered was that of Sala.
The AAIB suspended the search on Thursday following poor weather conditions as the body of Ibbotson has yet to be found.
Sala was heading to Wales from France to join his new side Cardiff City after bidding farewell to his former teammates at Nantes.
Concise News understands that the player sent an audio from the plane to his friends telling them of the issues the plane faced.
Further reports show that the plane took off after many unsuccessful attempts.
