Sultry Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde who turns 41-year old today, February 7, has received special recognition at the first Blacks in Cinema presentation in Los Angeles, United States.
The excited actress made the announcement on her Instagram page. Sharing photos from the event, Omotola wrote:
“Thank You #CityofLosAngeles for this Amazing Recognition and Happy Birthday to Me. 😁🎊❤🎊💋 #BlacksinCinema #BlackHistoryMonth”
This came few days after her colleague, Stephaine Okereke-Linus received special recognition at the same event for her hit movie ‘Dry’.
However, Omotola did not state which of her movies got recognised by the Los Angeles City Council Chambers.
First Blacks in Cinema presentation is part of the events ahead of the Pan African Film & Arts Festival (PAFF) which will hold in Los Angeles, USA later this month.
Omotola got married to Capt. Matthew Ekeinde in 1996, and they have 4 children; M.J. Ekeinde, Micheal Ekeinde, Princess Ekeinde, and Meraiah.
