President Muhammadu Buhari does not love money and is only interested in the wellbeing of Nigerians, according to Senator George Akume.
Akume said this in Makurdi, Benue State on Wednesday at the All Progressives Congress, (APC) presidential campaign.
“He (Buhari) had the opportunity to make money as Head of State, minister of petroleum and military administrators of northeastern states but did not amass wealth,” he noted.
“Buhari has managed the economy very well and we are very proud of him. The landmark projects of the government are impacting positively on the lives of the people.
“Mr. President, you promised to provide infrastructure and we are seeing it, you are not a man of talk but action- talk and do.”
He also assured Buhari of getting about 70 percent of the votes in the state during the election.
Akume noted that the Fulanis and Benue people have a cordial relationship.
