The 2019 edition of the gospel online praise, worship and prayer concert, Hallelujah Challenge started on Monday with the convener and singer Nathaniel Bassey asking God for peace to reign as Nigeria goes to the polls.
Concise News understands that the 21-day programme started in 2017 with over 20,000 persons joining in the first day of the 2019 edition.
During the Hallelujah Challenge which runs live on social media, Nathaniel Bassey urged participants to pray for the country using their permanent voter card (PVC) as a point of contact.
He, alongside the participants, declared that God’s will be done in the election and peace to reign in the country before, during and after the exercise.
In addition, they also prayed God to pour out his spirit upon the country and cause a turnaround.
Nigeria goes to the poll at both the state and federal levels this month to elect their president, governors, and lawmakers.
